Amelia Opie's Paintings at Lulu's Vintage Store in Portland, Oregon

The wonderfully hilarious title of the green painting featuring three cats pictured above is "Is That A Tuna Can I Hear?" The crazed slightly psychedelic expectant look on the cat on the far right in the painting is priceless and for any cat lover it's a recognizable look of excitement.

Amelia's wonderful and whimsical paintings will be up throughout the month of February. 20% of the sales of her paintings will be donated to DoveLewis Emergency Animal Clinic. The paintings start at only $20! Which is incredibly reasonable for a one of a kind hand painted work of art!

Join us on First Thursday, February 2nd for an opening party featuring pet themed paintings by Amelia Opie. There will be food and drink served. Come shop the vintage, and Amelia’s fun and unique paintings. The store will be open until 8:00 p.m. on February 2nd. On First Thursday and throughout the month of February Amelia and Lulu will be donating a portion of the sales of her paintings to DoveLewis. The painting above is called "Cat In Retro Swim Suit."

Lulu’s Vintage is excited to be teaming again this year with DoveLewis for a fundraiser! DoveLewis is the only non-profit animal hospital in Portland devoted exclusively to emergency and critical care for animals 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Throughout the month of February 10% of all sales of vintage clothing & accessories will be donated to DoveLewis. On “Furry Friend Fridays” 20% of all sales of vintage clothing & accessories will be donated to DoveLewis.
