Nicole Kidman's Wedding Dress

Nicole Kidman is the epitome of Hollywood glamour.
When on the red carpet she always wears classic gowns that compliment her fair skin and stunning beauty.
This weekend, when she walked down the aisle, she wore an ivory, one shouldered, puff sleeved wedding gown designed by Nicolas Ghesquiere.
Today my posts are inspired by Nicole Kidman's romantic wedding gown.

Vibrant & Fanciful Vintage Lilly Pulitzer

The story behind how Lilly Pulitzer began designing her line of clothing is quite interesting!
Lilly Pulitzer was a socialite whose husband owned a lot of citrus groves in Florida. She decided to open a citrus juice stand in the late 1950's. The clothes that she wore to the stand were ruined by the squeezing of the citrus fruit. And so she decided that she needed something cute and colorful to wear as a juice stand uniform. She had her dressmaker whip her up something. The dress that she had made became such a big hit that she closed the juice stand and shifted her focus to designing colorful clothing.
